Effective Ministry through Contact and Task Management

Free Demo - Fellowship One Church Management Software

Effectively ministering to people is one of the most important activities of the local church. To that end, Fellowship One provides an integrated contact and task management tool within the church management software to ensure consistent follow-up with every church visitor, attendee, and member.

People contact the church in various ways - contact cards, phone calls, email, through the church web site, etc. Many of these contacts require personalized follow-up from a church staff member. Such contacts, when entered into Fellowship One, become tasks assigned to the appropriate church personnel. Fellowship One's contact and task management workflow features ensure that contacts requiring follow-up don't "fall through the cracks".

Staff members who are assigned contact tasks can work on them in mass (send a letter or a group email) or one-by-one (contact each person individually). While working on a contact, a church staff member can make notes - both public and confidential. Contact tasks can also be transferred to another ministry and/or person if needed.

Submitting a contact form via your church website

Fellowship One WebLink extends Fellowship One's contact and task management functionality further by capturing contact forms through a church's web site. By using WebLink, contact forms can quickly be integrated with a church's website. When a website visitor completes and submits the form, Fellowship One initiates a workflow to the proper ministry and/or person responsible for fulfilling the contact process.

Thinking outside the contact form

Fellowship One's contact and task management workflow is often used for tasks other than contacts. For example, a task can be generated for a staff member to prepare certificates after a dedication or baptism.

Contact and Task Management Accountability

Accountability is key to any successful process. That's why we provide a summary view for Executive staff members to keep a close eye on the contact management process. Two quick views show the number, and percentage, of open, in progress, and closed contacts by Ministry and Individual.

Contact and task reporting

More than 20 reports are dedicated to contacts and each display in different views. Additional reports are sprinkled throughout Fellowship One allowing church staff members to see who has not received a follow-up from the church. For example, if church staff member has the proper security rights they can run a report on consistent givers who have never received a contact from any church staff.
